Freshly prepared Thai dishes on the illustrious location Katendrecht. A spicy mix of two worlds. Deli Bird is raw Rotterdam and shiny Thai at the same time.
The logo harbours references to the industrial port of Rotterdam and the existing piping in the restaurant. These shapes transform into the silhouettes of the temple roofs that can be seen in Thailand.
We developed the visual identity for Deli Bird in collaboration with Marijke van der Graaf.
We toned down the initial exotic palette, in contrast with the colourful interior. For the reprint, we emphasized the identity by combining simple kraft paper and a gold foil printing.
