Eline Muilwijk’s research focuses on tackling invasive fungal infections. We designed the cover and chapter pages for Eline.
The cover has an embossing so the fungal cells are subtly present and tangible. Depending on the angle, the cells either catch light or they don’t, rendering them (in)visible.This gives the modest cover its own liveliness.

In the title design, the position of the letter O is occupied by fungal cells, which expand in different directions.
